2024 International Conference on Intelligent Robotics and Automatic Control (IRAC 2024) wraps up successfully
2024年11月30日,由华南理工大学主办,联合广东石油化工学院、华南理工大学自动化科学与工程学院、超级机器人研究院(黄埔)、大模型具身智能人形机器人重点实验室、自主系统与网络控制教育部重点实验室、广东第二师范学院计算机学院共同主办的2024年机器人、人工智能与智能控制国际会议(RAIIC 2024)在广州召开!
2024 International Conference on Intelligent Robotics and Automatic Control (IRAC 2024) was successfully held in GuangZhou, China during November 29-December 1, 2024. OnNovember 30th, was hosted by South China University of Technology,co-organized by Guangdong University of Petrochemical Technology, School of Automation Science and Engineering of South China University of Technology,Institute For Super Robotics (Huangpu), Key Laboratory of Large-Model Embodied-Intelligent Humanoid Robot, Key Laboratory of Autonomous Systems and Network Control, Ministry of Education, and School of Computer Science of Guangdong Second Normal University.
会议聚焦“智能机器人”、“自动控制”两大核心主题,此次会议吸引了来自全球的顶尖学者、研究人员和行业专家,大家齐聚一堂,交流智能机器人与自动控制领域的最新研究成果与发展趋势,共同探讨科技创新在各行业中的应用,激发了深层次的学术思辨与思想交流,为未来的研究与实践提供了崭新的视角与启发。
The conference focuses on the two core themes of "Intelligent Robotics" and "Automatic Control" attracting top scholars researchers and industry experts from around the globe to gather and exchange the latest research findings and development trends in the fields of intelligent robotics and automatic control collectively exploring the application of technological innovation across various industries stimulating deep academic debate and intellectual exchange providing a fresh perspective and inspiration for future research and practice.

开幕式上,华南理工大学自动化科学与工程学院党委书记郑文杰与广东石油化工学院的党委书记张清华致辞分别进行会议致辞。希望大会搭建国际科技人才交流平台,以合作交流提升科学研究水平和人才培养质量,推动西南科技大学学科建设,加快绵阳科技城建设,共享科创发展新机遇。
At the opening ceremony, speeches were delivered by Wenjie Zheng, Party Secretary of the School of Automation Science and Engineering, South China University of Technology and Qinghua Zhang, party secretary of Guangdong University of Petrochemical Technology. They expressed their hopes that the conference would establish an international platform for scientific and technological exchange, enhance scientific research capabilities and talent development through collaboration, promote discipline construction at Southwest University of Science and Technology, accelerate the development of Mianyang Science and Technology City, and jointly seize new opportunities for scientific and technological innovation and development.

Oral Presentation 口头报告环节
口头汇报环节分为3个会场同步进行,近50场青年报告和40张海报,并安排超级机器人研究院学术考察。口头环节中,来自华南理工大学、广东石油化工学院、中山大学、海南大学、暨南大学、广东第二师范学院、华中师范大学、华中科技大学、佛山大学、香港中文大学、南方科技大学等高校的多名学者进行报告。现场专家、学者积极参与,共同营造了热烈、浓厚的交流氛围。
The oral presentation session was held simultaneously in three Sessions, nearly 50 presentations and 40 posters, and an academic visit to the Institute For Super Robot was arranged.In the oral session, multiple scholars from universities such as South China University of Technology, Guangdong University of Petrochemical Technology, Sun Yat-sen University, Hainan University, Jinan University, Guangdong Second Normal University, Central China Normal University, Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Foshan University, The Chinese University of Hong Kong, and Southern University of Science and Technology presented their reports. On-site experts and scholars actively participated, jointly creating a lively and vibrant atmosphere for the exchange.

大会颁发了“最佳理论奖”、“最佳论文提名奖”、“最佳工程实践奖”、“优秀论文”、“青年学者报告”、“优秀海报”六大奖项,激励年轻学者勇攀科研高峰,共同谱写科技发展的新篇章。
The conference awarded six awards, including "Best Theory Award", "Outstanding Paper Nomination Award", "Best Engineering Practice Award", "Best Paper Award", "Best Oral Presentation Award" and "Best Poster Award", to encourage young scholars to climb the peak of scientific research and jointly write a new chapter of scientific and technological development.
